This book took me awhile to get really into it. Halfway through the book I really thought about giving it up, but I persisted and ended up enjoying it and nearly cried at the end. It's narrated by a dog, who tells the story of his family. The dog loves racing and wishes to one day become a human. He shares the sorrows and happiness of him family. Really not too bad of a book. 3.5 out of 5 stars.
