Factoring Humanity by Robert J. Sawyer
Read this book in about 8 or 9 hours and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was hard to put down and I almost wished when finished that the book had a sequel. I think I might look for more works by this author.
Basically the story is of a husband and wife, their ongoing family issues, and work as university professors-but mostly about Alpha Centari as her husband works on artifical intelligence and quantam mechanics.
I've never been much for sci-fi books but this might have sparked my interest. 4/5 stars
