One of my favorite books, and I couldn't resist it when I saw it today. My homework doesn't thank me. But I do love the book, and how it is put together. The children portrayed aren't just smart, they're smarter than the adults, despite having less power. But they're children nonetheless, falling to all the pitfalls of immaturity at one point or another. And they survive, for the most part. They come out mostly in one piece.
