Competitions: Book Three of the Blending by Sharon Greene
Okay, this series is a fairly quick read and interesting, even though I don't know how I feel about her writing style at the moment. The repetitive nature of the story fades by the third book, just because there is not as much need for individual action and the characters are working in a group by that point. The story of a corrupt society and tight control by the upper class is nothing new, but the people in this one seem particularly cruel and evil. Good, evil villians are always nice in a story, though. :)
