Between services and leaving for the city, I finished the last couple of pages of a short book by James Morrow, called City of Truth, a thought-provoking novel about the difficulties of truth versus falsehood; leaving me to ponder the ramifications of truth not always the best way, but falsehood has its own problems of good versus evil; white lies for social interaction versus deep lies that can lead to severe consequences. It's a fast read as well; he sets his stage well in this. The book apparently won Morrow a Nebula Award.
