Slow and steady

8. Blooded by Christopher Golden and Nancy Holder

Summary: After a fight one night, Willow gets mugged by a group of regular people. She wishes to become more like Buffy, capable of fighting anything. The school goes for a trip to a museum that has a traditional Asian exhibit. Willow touches a sword that releases an ancient power beyond their comprehension. Too bad for Buffy, the vampires affect people close to her.

Review: This was a decent enough book. I used to love Buffy books when I was younger. This was the first one I read in probably five years or so and it was all right. The story was original but what I never liked about the books was the the timeline was always off compared to the show. So that within itself ruined the book a little for me. Also, it's a book aimed for a younger audience. At least that's how I felt reading it.
