I am a little disappointed in this book. It seemed that Sookie whined through most of the first half of the book. Yes, I do realize that she's been through a lot and she definately has a reason to whine but it just got hard to listen too.

I enjoyed meeting Eric's Maker in the book. Ocella's new child was interesting too, however, I think the characters could have been developed better.

I really enjoyed reading more about vampire politics and we even got to see some were politics as well.

One thing this books could have used more of was Eric. Definately needed more Eric. *grins*
