14/50 Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

The final book of the Hunger Games trilogy. I iked the first 2 books and was loooking forward to how this story wrapped up. I was not disapppointed. I think I like dystopian stories because they provide a measure of insight about ourselves and how we live today. A favoriite quote is from the end of the book. "We're in the sweet period where everyone agrees that our recent horrors should never be repeated. But collective thinking is usually short lived. We're fickle, stupid beings with poor memories and a great gift for self-destruction." I could not agree more.
