I've probably read this book at least once every two years since it was first published in 1996, and I still love it as much if not more than I did when I first read it. The tragic drug stories and all the who was sleeping with who stuff is still interesting, but it's the great creative instinct stuff that still gets to me today. Just a truly great book, maybe the best non-fiction rock music book out there. 453 pages. Grade: A+
