# 72 The Girl Who Played With Fire

The Girl Who Played With Fire

Stieg Larsson

When journalist Mikhael Blomqvist is approached by a couple of friends about publishing a book and series of articles that threaten to to expose a multi-national sex-trafficking operation, he agrees. It isn't long before those same friends are found dead.

Mikhael discovers that a gun has been found near the scene bearing the fingerprints of Lisbeth Salander, the off-beat girl who saved his life and his career during a previous investigation.

Salander has become the prime, and only suspect in the murders, and Mikhael is determined to prove her innocence.

Lisbeth, herself, offers Blomqvist little help, as she runs her own investigation while remaining undercover, and running smack into a deadly threat from her past.

Another extremely satisfying page-turner by Stieg Larsson! I love these books in the Millennium series, and am sorry that I have just one more to go.

I hope the last one reveals what happened to Lisbeth Salander's sister, Camilla. Her story-line is not an integral part of the first two books at all. She barely rates a mention in either one, but I think that's what intrigues me.
