It has taken quite a while to get through a (New Zealand) $2 book; The Oxford Anthology of British Literature; Modern British Literature edited by Frank Kermode and John Hollander (1973). A very thorough coverage of writers and poets from Britain in the period from 1880 to about 1960.
Pages 679, making 17,815 for the year to date. A couple more weeks and I hope to manage a couple more books.
