241. Sacred

My least favorite of the Patrick Kenzie novels that I've read so far. The story just didn't grab me from the start and I just don't think Lehane planned it out as well as he did the others. There are still some sloppy loose ends when you hit the last page, especially whatever was really going on with the whole Grief Release, Inc., part of the plot. All that being said, this book was still basically enjoyable. It did have a couple of decent surprising twists and Patrick Kenzie and Angela Gennaro are always enjoyable leads. 288 pages. Grade: B-
