Book 70 for 2010

The Ersatz Elevator by Lemony Snicket. 259 pages

Book Six of A Series of Unfortunate Events, in which the Baudelaire orphans acquire yet another useless guardian and must attempt not only to stay out of Count Olaf's clutches themselves, but also to rescue their friends, the Quagmire triplets, who he kidnapped in the previous book.

More of the same, but that's not always a bad thing. Not exactly comfort reading perhaps, but enjoyable if, like me, you're the sort of person who likes this sort of thing :-)

At this point, I'd like to offer thanks to the founder of the community - since I started reading and posting here I've been gradually increasing the number of books I read per year and have made several friends here too.

Thank you, jadis
