I really enjoyed this book, the second in the Ender's Shadow sub-series. It was action packed, I cared about the characters, the story was interesting. Really my only gripe is the politics got a bit overly complicated for about thirty or forty pages toward the end. I'm looking forward to reading the next book. 365 pages. Grade: A-

Poorly written local history. The hundreds of vintage photos reproduced in this book get an A, the fairly interesting little text sidebars that appear on many of the pages deserve a B, but the main writing in this book was horrendous. I wanted to hear some behind-the-scenes interesting stories about the early days of professional wrestling, but all this book had to was offer was page after page of mind-numbingly dull recitations of match results. 244 pages.
