Book Review: Shanghi Girls by Lisa See

My rating: 5 of 5 stars


I love Lisa See and her style of writing. She makes all of her characters come to life and makes it seem like you, as the reader, are a spectator. Such horrible things happen to Pearl and May, but they persevere. I do not want to give too much away, but I will say that I recommend this to everyone and that I cannot wait to read the sequel!
