I've been an avid reader since grade school, but I haven't read as much in recent years as I used to, thanks to changes in employment and having a four year old son. My husband bought me a Kindle Fire for our anniversary/Christmas, and I've been getting back on the horse.
I've downloaded several books from Amazon that were free, so I have quite a 'stack' to work through. I've also squeezed some money from the budget to satisfy my urge for books from favorite authors.
Though I can't say that I've actually finished anything this year yet, I worked my way through the Hunger Games trilogy and two other novels in the last week of 2011. On my radar for the coming year are the Game of Thrones novels, along with several other urban fantasy titles.
