by Michelle Sagara
I have been VERY remiss in writing my reviews so instead of initial impressions you get whatever has managed to stick with me after like a month of doing other things. This book was recommended by a friend of mine because of the way Sagara depicts a character that happens to be somewhere on the autism spectrum. For that issue alone I love Sagara and this book. The plot itself didn't capture me as so many of hers do but I believe that given a few more books to get farther into the plot development and character development I will really enjoy this series as well. It is written for a younger audience and that may be where I had difficulties immersing myself in the story but over all it was well written and I look forward to reading more.
