Book 1 of the Enchanted Forest Chronicles.
I like this series, which takes fairytales tropes and turns them on their heads a bit. Rob found it rather simplistic after the Codex Alera book that preceded it, and I suppose it is, but sometimes that's not a bad thing.
In this first book, Princess Cimorene runs away rather than marry a dunderheaded prince and volunteers to be a dragon's princess instead. This leads to compications with wizards, princes, knights and her fellow, less willing, dragon princesses.
Light and amusing, I enjoyed this reread.
