Another small accomplishment for the Fifty Book Challenge.  The second quarter report is ready.  (The first quarter report is here.)  A few books were pretty good (+) and others (-) failed to impress.  The links post to reviews as posted at the Challenge.

  1. Inferno, 3 June 2013 (+).

  2. Proof of Heaven: A Neurosurgeon's Journey into the Afterlife, 4 June 2013.

  3. What's the Matter with White People?  Why We Long for a Golden Age That Never Was, 11 June 2013 (-).

  4. Plutocrats: The Rise of the New Global Super-Rich and the Fall of Everyone Else, 17 June 2013 (+).

  5. Twilight of the Elites: America After Meritocracy, 18 June 2013.

One of the reviews in this collection made reference to a "long train ride." That condition having been met, some additional reviews may soon be forthcoming.

For now, I'll tack five more segments on the bookworm.
