Fangirl Monster World Realms; Tree Conspiracies

Fangirl, by Rainbow Rowell
This was so so good. Thoughtful and true-to-life and compassionate and hilarious.

Realms of Tolkien and Tolkien's World
These were giant illustration anthologies. Some brilliant gorgeous stuff, some that made me think "Wait, someone actually LIKES this?!?!" As is usually the case with such things.

Monster on the Hill, by Rob Harrell
This was fun. I think better suited to middle schoolers than to grown-ups? But I still enjoyed it.

Tree Houses: Fairy Tale Castles in the Air, by Philip Jodidio
So many pretty houses, most of them also cozy. All in trees! What's not to love?

Curtsies and Conspiracies, by Gail Carriger
Swashbuckling, sneak-around comedy of manners and intrigue, with bonus supernatural creatures and steampunky gadgets. The second in the series, I would definitely start with the first.
