Although we had another busy day, yesterday, in the morning I did finish reading another history book. This one was Osprey Raid #15: A Far-Flung Gamble: Havana 1762, which deals with a bit of history that the American educational system rarely covers in any detail. It's as though time disappears from the landing of the Mayflower until 1776 (but I digress). Anyway, this book gives some of the background to the war of the period, but specifically to the British attack on the Spanish possession of Cuba. Not a bad read.
