1) Cat Crimes Edited by Martin H. Greenberg and Ed Gorman. 1991. “Showcasing the top names in mystery fiction today, CAT CRIMES is a unique collection of mini-mysteries featuring the most inscrutable animal of all. Creepy, comic, fiendish, and clever, the seventeen tales included in this collection will make anyone's fur stand on end.” Some stories were better than others but it was a tolerable read for the beginning for the year since I am very tired from shoveling snow.
2) Quidditch Thought The Ages by Kennilworth Whisp ( J K Rowling). 2001. A “history” of Quidditch, this very slim book was created as a fundraiser for Comic Relief. It is fairly amusing and it has all of the typical touches of words and expressions of the Harry Potter world you expect. A nice quick read.
3) Chinese Art. General Editor Francesco Abbate Translated by Pauline L. Philips. 1972. An English translation of an Italian publication. This small book gives a general over view of art history in China till the 1900's. It covers bronze works, ceramics, painting, sculpting, and some architecture. A good basic primer for art dabblers.
