I've met Mr. Parks a few times at the Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant and he's been nice to talk to. I bought this from him there. I live near Chillicothe so for me it was a lot of fun to read some of the true ghost stories there along with some of the folk lore. The book clearly defines which stories have been investigated and tried to be matched up with the history and which stories are more legend without much to back it up.

Some of these are places I can (and will) visit so I'm looking forward to that. I enjoyed the book. Probably a 3.5 star read for me.
