Desperate for better ratings, radio psychologist Madeline Blair tells her listeners she’s being stalked, unaware that her long-time listener and biggest fan, Seth Brown, will do anything to protect her. When her publicity stunt is revealed, Seth becomes enraged by her deceit and dangerously unhinged.
When her friends mysteriously begin to vanish and damning evidence points to Madeline, she turns to private investigator Lizzy Gardner for help. Lizzy knows her way around a murderer’s mind, after surviving her own horrifying ordeal at the hands of a serial killer years ago. As Lizzy closes in, Seth Brown is undeterred. Madeline wanted a stalker and now she has one. Nothing is going to stop him. He’s obsessed. - synopsis from author's website.
Another in this gripping crime series. I totally enjoyed it and as it ended on a shattering cliffhanger I elected to buy the last two in the series, which were on sale, rather than wait for next month in order to borrow from the Kindle Lending Library.

The author has not posted a synopsis and as I want to avoid spoilers all I will say is that the events at the climax of Obsessed reverberate through this novel. Here also we have two serial killers focusing on Lizzy. One is someone from the past, who resents her for a key aspect of the Spiderman case. The other is the former victim of a group of school bullies who seeks payback in the most extreme terms. Lizzy is hired by one of group who is concerned by the number of accidents befalling former members of the elite club.
In some ways the motive of the second serial killer is understandable even if extreme. In all the novels the reader does get the perspective of the killers as well as Lizzy, her assistants and various victims.
This was a very downbeat tale with a dark path opening up for Lizzie.

Again no official synopsis as too many spoilers though in this final book in the series the number of baddies increases even more. There is a serial killer named by the press as the Sacramento Strangler, a businessman using his position to rape and murder and a woman attacking the homeless.
Overall a satisfying end to the series with nail-biting action right to the final pages. I have been impressed from start to finish with the series and will be looking for future thrillers from her.
