Book #11: The Commanded Blessing by Mike Evans

Number of pages: 184

This e-book tells about how you can be blessed by God by following His commands, using examples of character traits like humility that can bring about this blessing.

I liked the way that Mike Evans used examples from both the Bible and modern times, and often placed them parallel to each other, as well as making several comments about modern-day politics, including the situation in Israel, which he is particularly concerned about, mostly because the Bible sets them out as God's chosen, so there are a lot of references to modern-day persecution.

Overall, a reasonably short book, and an easy read.

Next book: The Adventure of the Engineer's Thumb and Other Cases (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle)
