Book #12: The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis

Number of pages: 209

I read this book a few years ago, and thought I'd read it again. It's in the form of a senior demon, Screwtape, writing letters to a junior demon, who is trying to distract a Christian from his beliefs, with very little success, while continually referring to Jesus as "the enemy".

It isn't an especially easy book, as you really have to read it carefully, but it was a fascinating read, about how easy it is to be sidetracked from Christian living, as well a commentary on how God always wins.

I did like how I was able to get through this book fairly quickly, though, and I did find the writing style compelling.

Next book: Little Women (Louisa May Alcott)
