Book #13: Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

This is another book I read a few years ago, but decided to read again having recently seen a TV adaptation, and having a copy of "Good Wives". There were a few things in the book that I wanted to be sure I'd remembered correctly.

I enjoyed reading about the lives of Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, although it felt like a bit of a hard read at times, just because a lot of the time it felt like not a lot happened, the book just talked about the girls growing up together.

The story is very episodic, and some parts were more memorable than others - one of the most memorable being the chapter where Amy got revenge by destroying the book that Jo was writing.

I'm looking forward to reading the sequel, although my understanding is that it gets very sad.

Next book: God has Spoken by J.I. Packer
