Pretty solid Batman vs. Hugo Strange story. The artwork was getting better by leaps and bounds in each successive issue at this point. Rest of the comics in here were nothing special. 68 pages. Been a long time since i posted here so i thought maybe i'd update on my latest list and endeavors...Well i've been reading a lot and recently started what i like to call my Halloween Reading List...Books basically that you read cause it's well Halloween...Thus see the theme here? Scary books LOL
Anyway i have started this reading list actually added it to my existing reading list..I am currently working on 2 books only because 1 i found today and it isn't that long. I had thought i wouldn't add it but, i think it works cause A. It's a book and B. It's in the theme. I don't really think it matters how long the book is...Anywho what i am currently reading?
The Hollow: Horseman By: Christopher Golden & Ford Lytle Gilmore Basically a book about two teenagers and their father that move to Sleepy Hollow, yes where the legend supposedly took place. And what do ya know there is a headless horseman in this story too that's decapitating people...Kinda cool yea yeah....It's actually a really good book for a young adult read. I read a lot of books from the YA section of our library. Anyway this book is so far as i said pretty good and i actually have the second one on order at the library..
Haunted Houses Fact Or Fiction? By: Greenhaven Press What i found interesting about this book was the way they presented each case. It's not a very large book doesn't have a lot of pages however, it's actually really interesting. What they basically did was tell the stories of legendary haunted houses (Amityville for example) and then presented the evidence that proves it and then flips it and presents the evidence to disprove it. Kinda neat read i am really enjoying it so far.
I am open to more suggestions of scary type books to read, i love anything that's considered "true stories" and love ghost tales haunted places and that sort of stuff so please i am open for any suggestions.
This is a really great work of non-fiction. Cullen obviously took his time and became as intimately knowledgeable about the events at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999, as he possibly could. It shows. This is a well-thought out, well-researched, even-handed look at a tragic and complicated event. 358 pages.
